Mr Nick Little is a leading Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Surrey specialising in upper limb conditions.
Specialising in shoulder, elbow and hand surgery including upper limb trauma. His areas of interest are rotator cuff disease, total shoulder replacement including reverse geometry, sports injuries for the shoulder and elbow and upper limb fractures. He has introduced awake shoulder surgery to Epsom Hospital allowing patients to go home quickly after surgery without the risks of general anaesthetic.
Initial consultation will not exceed £250 and follow-up consultation will not exceed £200.
He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and Member of the British Shoulder and Elbow Society.
Nick Little graduated from Manchester University, spending his junior doctor training in Perth, Western Australia and Wessex. He completed a Masters degree in Orthopaedic Surgical Science at University College London winning a prestigious scholarship grant from Stanmore Hospital.He spent his specialist registrar training in the South West Thames region. During this time he undertook a trauma and upper limb fellowship in a level one trauma centre in New Zealand. He has been trained extensively in upper limb surgery by Mr D Mok and other world experts and spent time in Sweden, Germany and USA. Nick has a keen interest in research and teaching, he has published extensively and presented both nationally and internationally on orthopaedic trauma and shoulder and elbow surgery. He is an examiner at St Georges Medical School and is currently completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Education.He organises and runs courses for the training of newly appointed specialist registrars and helps teach other Consultants about shoulder replacement.
