Mr Agarwal went to JIPMER, Pondicherry, one of the top prestigious medical schools in India. This followed an extensive orthopaedic training in teaching hospitals in London (2008-2012) and a formal Higher Surgical Training Programme in Surrey and Sussex (2012-2018). This was followed by a Fellowship in Sydney where he honed his skills in knee and hip replacements including use of Direct Anterior Approach, Robotics and Navigation.
He joined as a consultant in the NHS in 2019 and has also built up his private practice in the Midlands and Birmingham region since then. Mr Agarwal specialises in most aspects of knee and hip surgery including arthroscopy, meniscus repair, partial knee replacement, Total Knee replacement, Knee injections, Arthosamid, Total Hip replacement and Hip injections.
