I have extensive experience in the management of degenerative conditions of the spine, including: cervical and lumbar disc disease, back and neck pain, sciatica and claudication pain, spondylolisthesis, spinal trauma, spinal tumours including  intradural tumours, osteoporotic collapse, disease of the craniocervical junction etc. My surgical expertise includes cervical and lumbar discectomy and decompression, minimally invasive spinal fusion, cervical and craniocervical junction fixation, vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty, surgery for spinal tumour, spinal pain intervention techniques including spinal injections and radiofrequency ablation for pain.

I completed my higher neurosurgical training in Sheffield, UK and obtained my CCT in neurosurgery in 2008. Subsequently, I undertook fellowship training in complex spinal surgery at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore as well as the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. Additionally, I have worked as a consultant spinal neurosurgeon at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, and the Oxford University Hospital NHS Trust, Oxford. Following this, I subsequently moved to the United Arab Emirates in the Middle East, where I have worked at leading public and private hospitals from 2013 until 2025.

To add, I have numerous publications as well as written several book chapters. I was also a reviewer for the world-leading "Spine" journal.
