Academic Background
Mr Williams qualified from Guy’s and St Thomas’ Medical School in 1999. His surgical and orthopaedic training included posts in London, Oxford, Cambridge and across East Anglia.
He subsequently undertook specialist Foot & Ankle fellowship training at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, working with Mr Dishan Singh, before being appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Colchester in 2011.
Alongside his clinical practice, Mr Williams has a longstanding involvement in surgical education, clinical leadership and the development of specialist foot and ankle services. He is Clinical Director of the ICENI Centre for surgical education, Clinical Director for Podiatric Surgery in Ipswich, and Associate Clinical Director of the East Suffolk and North Essex Elective Orthopaedic Centre (ESEOC).
