Dr Syahminan Suut is a Clinical Radiologist with a specialism in Diagnostic and Interventional Uroradiology
Dr Suut trained in Abdominal and Genitourinary Radiology in Manchester. In 2015 he was appointed as substantive Consultant Uroradiologist at Salford Royal. His main specialties are oncological, general and complex benign Urological imaging.
Dr Suut is Uroradiology, Interventional Radiology and Radiology Trust Specialty Training Lead in the Salford Care Organisation. His main interests include multiparametric MR (mpMRI) imaging of the prostate and urinary bladder as well as specialist Urological interventional procedures such as ultrasound-guided transperineal biopsy of the prostate and percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) for complex renal stone disease.
Dr Suut is an examiner at Manchester Medical School, Honorary Lecturer at the University of Manchester and tutor at the North West School of Radiology Academy. Nationally he sits on the Clinical Radiology Advisory Appointment Committee.
