Minimal access abdominal surgery (laparoscopic). Mr Menzies treats gastro-intestinal disease in general but has a particular interest in gastro-oesophageal reflux, gall stones, adhesions and incisional and groin hernias. He provides a complete diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy service including ERCP.
Mr Menzies trained at Westminster Hospital and The Royal London Hospital. He was a senior registrar at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge. His MS was in abdominal adhesions. He has been performing advanced laparoscopic procedures since 1992. Mr Menzies currently plays an active role in the Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons and is the Honorary Treasurer for that society.
Mr Menzies is a member of the Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons, Association of Upper GI Surgeons, Association of Surgeons and the Royal Society of Medicine.
