General surgery including: hernia’s, gallbladders and lumps

Colorectal surgery covering: benign coloproctology (haemorrhoids, fistula, fissure and pilonidal disease), Inflammatory bowel disease and  colorectal cancer

Pelvic floor surgery: faecal incontinence, rectal prolapse surgery (including laparoscopic ventral mesh rec-topexy) and obstructed defaecation syndrome

Endoscopy: upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy

Academic background

Mr Vasudevan completed his higher specialty training in the London Deanery. He completed a period of original research into hindgut physiology and was awarded the MD(Res) degree by the university of London. He has presented his research in several national and international meetings and they also appear in peer reviewed journals. He also has a keen interest in medical education.
