Academic background

Mr Sheldrick trained at St Thomas’ Hospital in London, qualifying in 1984. He trained in a number of ophthalmic units including Nottingham University, Leicester University and the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. Mr Sheldrick took up a Consultant post at the Essex County Hospital in Colchester in 1996.
