Dr. Haider was appointed as pain and anaesthetic consultant in 2012, following extensive and high quality training in anaesthesia and pain medicine in Yorkshire deanery, Nottingham, North London and India - spanning a period in excess of 12 years. He undertook Advanced Pain Fellowship in a West Yorkshire scheme at Leeds and Bradford and was awarded Fellowship of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Royal College of Anaesthetists. Dr Haider is on the editorial board of the Journal of Observational Pain Medicine. He has co-authored a chapter in a pain textbook titled ‘Symptom Oriented Pain Management’. He also co-founded and manages the national group for pain fellows in the UK.
