Clinical interests
Upper and lower, diagnostic and theraputic endoscopy. In particular I am a JAG approved Colonoscopist for the National Bowel Cancer Screening Programme. I undertake over 400 colonoscopies per year and perform endomucosal resection of large colonic polyps. General Gastroenterology with a particular interest in inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis) being the first author of the national 'British Society of Gastroenterology Guidelines for the management of IBD'. I also have particular interest and expertise in liver disease, Coeliac disease, genetics of gastrointestinal disease/ cancer and gastrointestinal bleeding.
