Dr Bhattacharjee studied at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals (later Kings College) where he achieved a 1st Class in Physiology and went onto successfully complete an MB/PhD programme funded by the Migraine Trust and qualified with distinction. He did all his post-graduate general medical training at St. Thomas', Hammersmith, Royal Brompton, National (Queen Square) and Kings College Hospitals.
