Diagnostic Audiology including full Pure Tone Audiometry on both adults and paediatrics over the age of 3.5years old, Tympanometry including testing for Glue Ear, Eustachian Tube Function testing and Acoustic Reflex Testing. Emma is not able to give advice on commercial hearing aids or Tinnitus. Emma has over 25 years' experience in Audiology working predominantly in the NHS and for 9 years supporting the Ear, Nose and Throat Consultants providing Audiology Assessments at the Rivers Hospital. Emma continues to work in the NHS as a Lead Paediatric Audiologist with a specialist interest in diagnostics. Academic Background
Emma studied at The City of Westminster College and at The Charing Cross School of Audiology in London and qualified as an Audiologist in 2000. She has worked in the NHS throughout this time at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow and Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge. She returned to Princess Alexandra where she took the role of the Lead Paediatric Audiologist, creating a new acute and community paediatric service, as well as gaining experience in managing the Audiology Service. Emma now works at Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford where she continues to work in a Lead Paediatric Audiology role.
