Mr Bradpiece graduated in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1977. He then completed his postgraduate training at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School and King's College Hospital, London. Training included two years research in Boston, USA on pancreatic cancer and molecular pathogenesis. Qualifications: MB, BCh, training in surgery in the South East Thames region and Hammersmith Hospital. Since qualifying, thirty five years experience in the profession, seventeen of which as a specialist (1996 Certificate of Specialist Training). Until 2015 Mr Bradpiece was a senior NHS consultant for the the West Essex Health Authority joining The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Essex in 1996. He was instrumental in setting up and running the very successful Breast Unit at St Margarets Hospital in Epping. During his tenure in the Epping Breast Unit, he was responsible for delivering breast care of the highest standard and was instrumental in setting up several ground-breaking innovations such as intraoperative testing of sentinel nodes and the delivery of intraoperative radiotherapy. He was and remains an active participant in multidisciplinary team work in which he engages with present and former colleagues to ensure the continuation of top quality breast care. Mr Bradpiece is a well recognised consultant with all the major private healthcare insurance companies including Bupa (finder.bupa.co.uk), Axa PPP, Cigna, WPA, Aviva, Vitality Health and Simply Health.
