Mr Rashid Khan is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hip replacements and all knee disorders including knee replacements, trauma, sports injuries and anterior cruciate ligament ruptures.

Mr Khan qualified from St George’s Hospital Medical School, London. He completed his basic surgical training in London and his higher surgical training in orthopaedics based at Guys’ & St Thomas’ and King’s College Hospitals, London. He passed the FRCS (Tr&Orth) in 2008 and gained entry into the specialist register in Mar 2009.
Mr Khan has undertaken specialist training in hip and knee surgery at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, Middlesex, The Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford and at St George’s Hospital, London, as well as a trauma fellowship in Mainz, Germany.
Full time research post at Imperial College, London, leading to a higher surgical degree (Master of Surgery). His thesis was in anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, a field in which he has also published.
Mr Khan was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow in November 2009, initially in a locum capacity and then subsequently into a substantive post .
