Emma Williams is a UK-registered Genetic Counsellor, with 10 years experience since graduating from the MSc in Genetic Counselling course in Cardiff. Prior to training as a genetic counsellor, Emma completed a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry and Genetics at Nottingham University. Emma currently works at the North East Thames Regional Genetic Service, where she specialises in cancer genetics. She has been involved in arranging Essex-based information evenings for individuals with BRCA, including peer-led support groups. She also mentors genetic counselling students, as well as educating other health professionals.
