Mr Pace Balzan is an ENT surgeon specialising in paediatric ENT, rhinology, sinus, salivary gland, and otolaryngology at Springfield Hospital
General ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat) Surgeon with vast experience in nasal, throat and ear problems and particular interest in paediatric surgery. He also has a special interest in salivary gland problems including parotid surgery and other neck pathology.
Mr Pace-Balzan qualified in London in 1977 and trained as a registrar in general surgery, before starting his training in ENT surgery. Hewas a senior house officer and registrar in ENT at Manchester Royal Infirmary before joining the senior registrar rotation in Manchester . He was a research fellow at the Ear Pathology Research Laboratory in Toronto, Canada in 1991. He completed his higher surgical training and was appointed Consultant ENT Surgeonin Chelmsford, Essex in 1992.
Several articles published in peer reviewed journals. Winner of the Down's Temporal Bone dissection Prize 1988. Winner of the George Seed Prize 1990.
Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine Member of ENT UK (British Association of Otolaryngologists) and Member of the British Medical Association.
