I am a Consultant Gastroenterologist and have worked at Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford since 2009. I was the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Lead and the Endoscopy Training Lead of the trust. I now provide a private practice at Springfield Hospital and have an honorary contract with Broomfield Hospital.
I graduated in medicine from India in 1997 and thereafter completed my post-graduate training in the UK. I trained in Gastroenterology and General Medicine in the University Hospitals of Leicester and obtained my CCT in 2009. I obtained a masters degree in Health Services Research from Nottingham University in 2006 whilst researching the effects of inflammatory bowel disease on bone metabolism.
I am interested in all aspects of gastroenterology and endoscopy.
I am a mother to a lively toddler and enjoy playing the piano and reading in my spare time.
