Colorectal Surgery: Change in bowel habits; coloproctology (haemorrhoids – injection, banding, open, THD, Rafaelo procedure; fissures; complex fistulas; Crohns related), Laparoscopic and open colon and rectal surgery for cancer, Inflammatory bowel disease, diverticular disease, benign pathology;
General Surgery: Laparoscopic and open general surgery for hernias (inguinal; femoral; umbilical; abdominal; incisional and parastomal), Abdominal Reconstructions for hernias, gallbladder surgery (cholecystectomies) and skin lesions.
Endoscopic Procedures: Gastroscopies, Flexible sigmoidoscopies and colonoscopies; polypectomies and EMR.
Completing his PhD at UCL in the field of colorectal cancer with over 30 publications and international presentations, he was awarded the British Journal of Surgery Award, Cambridge Young Investigators Prize and Culters’ Fellowship Award amongst others.
Further to cancer research, he also has an interest in translational research into inflammatory bowel disease. He continues teaching medical professionals up to surgeons sitting the Fellowship exams to become consultants.
