Academic background

Mr Vindlacheruvu qualified as a doctor from Cambridge University in 1993. Following basic surgical training in London he spent eight years in Newcastle as a specialist registrar in neurosurgery. In this period he gained experience across the full range of neurosurgical procedures and also undertook research.

In 2006 he became a Consultant Neurosurgeon at Oldchurch Hospital, Romford, Essex, moving to Queen’s Hospital, Romford later that year. Mr Vindlacheruvuu is a key member of a team of seven consultant neurosurgeons, serving the adult population of Essex and North-East London affected by disorders of the brain or spine.
