Dr Thanthulage specialises in pain management including back pain, facial pain, chronic abdominal pain, fibromyalgia, chronic headaches, pelvic pain and sciatica.
Dr Thanthulage is a consultant in chronic pain management and is available to offer a comprehensive pain management service. He approaches pain problems with a multi-disciplinary view, taking into consideration the pathophysiological and psychological aspects of the problem.
The service provided by Dr Thanthulage includes pharmacotherapy, neural blockade, joint injections, epidurolysis, radiofrequency lesioning, pulsed radiofrequency, TENS and acupuncture.

Dr Thanthulage graduated from the State University of Russia in 1993, trained in anaesthetics and pain management in Barts and The London School of Anaesthesia.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists and a Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine. He obtained the fellowship of Interventional Pain Practice in 2009.
