Following completion of advanced specialist spinal training he has worked as a Consultant Spinal Surgeon at North Bristol NHS Trust and Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust.Throughout his training he has cultivated an interest in spinal surgery and following completion of his postgraduate orthopaedic training Mr Grannum undertook post CCT fellowships in complex and reconstructive spinal surgery at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham and at Frenchay Hospital in Bristol. These fellowships provided advanced training in the management of spinal trauma, adult and paediatric spinal deformity as well as the management of degenerative conditions of the cervical and lumbar spine.His specialist interests include the management and correction of paediatric spinal deformity, reconstruction of spinal trauma as well as management of degenerative lumbar and cervical spine pathologies.
