Mr Kugan completed his specialist orthopaedic training at Oxford Deanery in 2012.  He completed advanced training/fellowship in foot and ankle surgery with BOFAS recognised Foot and Ankle fellowship in England and International Fellowship in Switzerland under Professor Hintermann.

Currently Mr Kugan is an established Consultant at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. He has developed his elective foot and ankle practice providing a wide range of operations from ankle replacement to complex multilevel foot/ankle surgery. He has a special interest in minimally invasive bunion surgery, joint replacement surgery and minimally invasive foot/ankle trauma surgery. Has introduced new techniques of ankle ligament/graft reconstruction, bunion correction and ankle alignment correction/joint preservation surgery.   He believes in one stop assessment and imaging for foot and ankle problems.

Mr Kugan is one of the dedicated trauma specialists at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. Part of his commitment involves treating complex fractures and providing a frame service at Gloucester Royal Hospital.
