Academic background

Dr Gilmore graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2000.  After completing his General Medical Training he completed a Doctorate of Medicine thesis in 'Spinal cord grey matter pathology in Multiple Sclerosis'.  He trained as a Neurologist in Nottingham and was appointed Consultant in May 2010.
