I have had an excellent experience from everyone I have come into contact with, while having two separate knee operations six months apart last year. Special mention must go to Karen Nicholls who has been very efficient, kind and supportive arranging and co ordinating the various appointments I’ve had over that period, she couldn’t have been more helpful. A mention too for Mr James Owen the very skilled Consultant/ Surgeon who looked after me so well too. Both are a credit to the organisation.

As an extremely anxious returning patient I feel blessed to have been cared for by a surgeon whose practise is imbued with empathy, compassion, righteousness, patience, wisdom, humility and service. Whilst Mr Holton’s qualifications and experience speak for themselves qualities often not spoken of and which are less measurable should also be recognised. I am delighted and grateful to be able to do this for a second time.

Wow what an amazing experience. I just had surgery with Prof Drew and I couldn’t have been looked after better from the start. Steve Ellis really put me at ease when I was admitted, great humorous guy. All the nurses were fantastic and couldn’t have done more for me. The anaesthetist was so reassuring as I had never been put to sleep before. I had a private room and nothing was too much trouble. I wasn’t rushed to leave the following day. I truly felt like I was in the best place with the best surgeon and team. Thank you Duchy.

I was in for two days for a knee replacement Fantastic place,clean,food was lovely,nurses were very polite & wonderful,physio was grueling but brilliant as what she put me through helped recommend this hospital to anybody.
