I recently stayed at Woodthorpe Hospital, Nottingham for a total hip replacement and cannot recommend them highly enough. From the initial consultation to the theatre team and post-op care, every single member of staff was professional, empathetic, and attentive. The facility was spotless, and having a private room made my recovery so comfortable. A huge thank you to Mr Niten Badhe and the nursing team for looking after me so well!

Had my 1st hip replacement 8.5 months ago my 2nd hip replacement 9 days ago I can not thank Mr Hatton & his team enough the whole experience was excellent from the start all of the staff are very friendly professional & caring nothing was too much trouble & lots of cups of tea thank you all.

Total knee replacement From the very first meeting with Mr Nitin Badhe to my discharge yesterday (11 Dec '25) the word excellent seems inadequate. Pre op with Carla. The operation itself with a fantastic team of anaesthetists, Mr Badhe's dedicated team and the caring staff in the recovery room. Then onto the ward with the absolutely amazing Nurse Gen and the day shift team. Nurse Kelly and the night shift staff. Special mention to the catering department and the excellent food and wonderful service 👍 Not forgetting anyone else involved in my treatment at Woodthorpe. Thank you all so much ❤️ xx Second knee replacement. 31 May '26 Once again everyone involved was amazing. I'd like to thank again everyone in Mr N Badhe's operating team, anaesthetists, recovery and everyone connected to the ward who i came into contact. Big shout out to the catering department, excellent yet again. Been a harder journey this time, back at Woodthorpe 2 days after discharge for a re dressing ( section of wound bleeding, thank you Chris👍) First physio today, 17th June, Getting easier by the day. Thank you all ♥️

Had a recent procedure on my foot. The staff are amazing so kind friendly and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone. The hospital is spotless almost like being in a hotel. The follow up care is really good.

Don’t often leave reviews but feel I have to make an exception given the outstanding care I’ve received at Stourside hospital and its sister facility, the West Midlands Hospital. I’ve been under the care of Mr Kenan Dehne, consultant orthopedic surgeon, for a complex knee procedure. His treatment was outstanding - he went above and beyond the call of duty. I’m making much quicker progress than I could have wished for. I had an overnight stay, and the care provided by his team was exemplary. Thank you so much to all involved - I can’t recommend these guys enough

I've brought my wife a few times. To start, it's a beautiful old building which engenders a relaxed atmosphere. Never overcrowded or over busy, but that doesn't necessarily mean no waiting time and the traditionally dull waiting room would benefit from some background music or even just something to read beyond health insurance leaflets and proudly displayed corporate posters, anything to encourage us to get off our phones, right? The doctors and nursing staff however are highly professional and comforting.

Current 61 year old male NHS Consultant Surgeon and former Private Practitioner here of very many years. Overall an excellent experience, all but flawless. Exceptionally caring empathic behaviour is of key importance to me and the entire staff exhibited such which usually reflects to a good degree the leadership culture. I was in 3 days and had a urological operation. It is my second procedure here. Parking is a problem which I imagine is being partly addressed as their land is limited.

I had a great experience at Blakelands Hospital. The care given was excellent. All staff were friendly, helpful and understanding. You are given a warm welcome by the receptionist and all through the time there. Everything during my procedure was explained fully. I could not ask for more, plus I had a wonderful Consultant.

I recently had day surgery on my foot at Mount Stuart Hospital and, once again, received outstanding care. This is not my first time at the hospital, as I have previously had both knee replacements carried out there, so I already had confidence in the team and the quality of care provided. From admission to discharge, everyone was friendly, professional, and reassuring. The nurses and medical staff kept me informed throughout the day and made sure I was comfortable at every stage. The hospital was clean, welcoming, and very well organised. Having experienced several procedures at Mount Stuart Hospital over the years, I can honestly say the standard of care has always been excellent. My sincere thanks to everyone involved in my treatment and recovery.

I came here with my partner whilst he was having a quite personal procedure, and the nurse made me wait in the waiting room rather than allowing me to chaperone. He’s an anxious person anyway, so this made the encounter even worse for him.
