  • Fantastic treatment and care from the Fitzwilliam hospital this week. Procedure undertaken on time, so much so that I had to wait a good few hours until my wife could pick me up. Staff were lovely, special mention to Roxy and Rachel ( there were others aswell) who made me feel welcome with nothing too much trouble.

  • Just had a gallbladder surgery on Wednesday 11th Feb 2026 , can not fault my experience and level of care was superb, private room was lovely and attentiveness of the hospital staff was second to none, also Danny the nurse that was assigned to me was brilliant and made me laugh all the way , so it's a 5 stars from me , thanks again for all your help at The Woodthorpe Hospital Team

  • I have just returned home from having spinal surgery and the care I received at new hall was outstanding! Every single staff member is kind caring and friendly they couldn’t have cared for me more if they tried. I have had a good experience from my very first appointment there I would recommend this hospital to anyone, it’s beautiful clean and very professional. Thank you to everyone that cared for me x

  • I have just been in Woodthorpe Hospital for knee replacement surgery. The staff and nurses were amazing a really looked after me. They explained everything to me and made sure I had everything I needed. The rooms were comfortable and very clean and had plenty of space. I would recommend the Woodthorpe Hospital and the staff especially the team working in Ward one who were amazing. Many thanks to Ray for his care & support and to all the other nurses, HCAs and the catering staff.

  • I’ve opted for surgery as the injections done work on me unfortunately and I have an impingement so an injection wouldn’t help so surgery is the route I’m going there have to apply for funding from the NHS to perform the operation so it’s just a waiting game.
