Wow, this hospital is amazing! I was very very nervous going for a full knee replacement but everyone were so kind and friendly I didn’t need to bother. Excellent experience and a great job done by all.

This hospital and staff deserve 100% in every aspect. I have attended twice for operations both times the hospital was immaculate pre- operation staff were polite and helpful post op exactly the same,felt relaxed at all times. Food is very good.All in all very good.

I've had double shoulder surgery many years ago. They were starting to be painful again so I was referred to The Cherwell Hospital to be assessed with ultrasound and MRI before being offered ultrasound guided hydrocortisone injections. The team were brilliant, from Angela and the ladies at Radiography reception, to Edward and his team who administered the injections. I was seen quickly, treated quickly, & I'm very grateful!

I had a hysteroscopy. All staff was amazing and reassuring me every time. Would definitely recommend this hospital.

I spent two days in Woodthorpe Hospital following surgery. I have been extremely happy with the care I have received both pre and post op. The consultant spent time explaining the procedure and potential side effects which was comforting. The nurses and staff were all lovely and very attentive and the facilities were great. So far my post op care has been great. Would recommend.

Mr K has been amazing. All the staff efficient friendly and helpful. Reassuring throughout. From pre assessment to admission, the operation the nurses, physio, medication, note for work. Phone support if needed. Follow up call to check your ok. Cannot fault my experience. Went back to get the second op ... exactly the same experience. Thankyou so much everyone

We were referred here for my husband. The reception staff were brilliant and super polite, but the medical staff were quite abrupt and rude. You do get seen quickly and appointment are incredibly fast but there could be more compassion from the medical team.

I had a minor operation at Woodthorpe Hospital and I was very impressed by the effeciency and friendliness of the staff. I was shown to my own private room soon after arriving which was very pleasant and much nicer than waiting in a public area. All the relevant people who were involved in my procedure came to see me and everything went very smoothly.You don't have to wait hours for the medication to take home .It was an excellent experience all round.

Had my partial left knee replacement done on 24th April 2026, as with my partial right knee replacement which I had done 7th February 2025, both were done under the NHS at Woodthorpe Hospital. I honestly can’t praise or thank them enough, they were wonderful the whole experience from start to finish was stress free. Excellent communication, everyone was welcoming, friendly, supportive and helpful this really put me at ease and nothing was too much trouble. I am now back home recovering and putting the work into making this replacement as successful as my first. Thank you all again, I appreciate all you did to make my stay at Woodthorpe Hospital such a positive experience.
