I had some physio appointments with Claire Jennings at Buckshaw hospital. She was absolutely amazing - I can not fault her care at all. She was caring, kind, attentive, responsive and open to all my needs and issues. She took time and attention to detail to give me all the treatment she could to help me through my worries and issues. I would go back to her in a heartbeat and would recommend this physiotherapist who has a special interest in Obs and Gynae physio to all my family and friends if they should need this help.

Following an inpatient stay on 02.06.26, I just wanted to pass on a compliment to everyone who took care of me from reception to the nursing team who looked after me pre-operatively, the consultant anaesthetist (sorry name I've not remembered), Mr Verdin and Bob the ODP who took great care in minimising mine and my partners anxiety and of course after undertaking a successful surgery, the care received by the recovery nurses; the heated blanket was most welcome! A special mention to Sally-Anne (RN in charge of my care on the ward) and Rasa (HCA) who were both truly faultless and took great care and patience with me posted operatively when I wasn't feeling at my best. Also, a thank you to the catering team who navigated the uncertainty of whether I would end up staying overnight with the minimalist of fuss and made arrangements for a particular item to made available for tea/take away if I were to be discharged before then.

Cyril, Joan and the team were fantastic throughout and have made me feel a lot less anxious about my surgery. Surgery was done quickly and professionally. Felt completely at ease and would recommend this hospital.

Absolutely lovely experience with Blakelands Hospital. My partner was admitted for carpal tunnel surgery and the care he received was excellent from start to finish. A special mention goes to Joan, the nurse who looked after him. She was incredibly kind, caring and reassuring throughout the whole process with non stop laughs. Thank you to Joan and all the staff at Blakelands Hospital for the outstanding care and support.

Could not fault both the surgeon Mr Malek and the hospital, all staff excellent, physio staff included as well, all advice relevant and needs to be taken to aid quick recovery
