The staff and my treatment for my colonoscopy went really well. If you are going into hospital for this procedure, once you get over the bowel prep it’s not painful. I was treated with well and the food was great. Thanks to the staff and Dr Shenoy

Unfortunately, I have been very disappointed with the service I have received. I have not yet had my procedure and already struggle with mobility, so arranging transport for appointments is particularly important for me. My appointment paperwork clearly stated that my upcoming appointment was at 12:30, so I arranged transport based on this time. However, today I received a voice message appoinment reminder stating that my appointment was actually at 13:30. I contacted the company to clarify the discrepancy, but unfortunately found the response very unhelpful. I was simply told that the appointment is what the voice message states despite the paperwork I had received clearly stating 12:30. When you have mobility difficulties and have to arrange transport in advance, changes or conflicting information like this can cause unnecessary stress and inconvenience. I would expect a company dealing with patients to provide clear, accurate information and be more understanding when mistakes or discrepancies occur. Overall, very disappointing communication and customer service.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I would like to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to the entire team at Woodland Hospital for the outstanding care and support I received during my operation and stay. I was admitted on 18 August and stayed until 20 August, and from the moment I arrived, I felt that I was in safe and caring hands. Every member of staff I met was incredibly kind, friendly, professional and supportive. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and everyone treated me with genuine care and respect. A very special thank you to Leanne Gillies, Senior Staff Nurse. ❤️ She was absolutely amazing – so caring, compassionate, patient and professional. Her kindness and the way she looked after me made such a difference during what was a difficult and stressful time for me. I am truly grateful to all the doctors, nurses and the whole hospital team for everything they did for me. The level of care I received was exceptional, and I cannot thank you enough. I would highly recommend Woodland Hospital to anyone. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for looking after me so well. ❤️ Tomasz Przerwa

A five star experience throughout. The care and attention demonstrated by every member of the team was just brilliant. I felt kindness from everyone I interacted with. So many examples of the team going over and above to make sure I was comfortable - such as taking the time to listen (and feign laughter) to my awful jokes while in recovery (I blame the medication!). I hope I don’t need anymore operations however if I do, I’ll insist on returning here. Huge thank you to the team who looked after me <3

This is the first time I have used Exeter Medical. From start to finish the staff were excellent. Debbie at reception was extremely welcoming and professional, the theatre staff were clearly very experienced and went out of their way to make my visit as comfortable as possible. I was seen by Dr Craig Barker who carried out a minor operation in an exemplary manner and was clearly a professional in his field of work. I have no hesitation in recommending Exeter Medical, well done all!

Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Highly recommend. Staff wonderful and can’t do enough. Got me in for my surgery within a week. Honestly couldn’t ask for better care. Nurses, sisters, ODP, receptionist, manager, anaesthetist, surgeon, domestic, healthcare assistant, cook, kitchen lady, and anyone I have missed. Thank you so much. Your work doesn’t go unknown. I truly appreciate everything you have done for me and all you do. Words are not enough. I wouldn’t hesitate if I ever needed treatment again - 💯 % no doubt about it
