I just want to say being here at this hospital, to have my knee replacement, I had excellent treatment, nurses, doctors, health care staff, surgeon, theatre staff, & physiotherapy staff & all the medical staff that was involved in my care, was absolutely amazing, they was very caring nothing was ever too much for them, everyone made me feel at ease & I can highly recommend this hospital to anyone, they are so very caring & understanding. I've always felt comfortable when I've been here, excellent care, absolutely 💯 %

Had a wonderful experience at Blakelands Hospital on 28 May 2026. I had arthroscopic meniscectomy procedure under general anaesthetic by the wonderful Surgeon Suresh Srinivasan. He was absolutely brilliant. Thank you. Also wanted to give a huge shout out to Dr Paramdeep Jandu, the anaesthetist who was absolutely brilliant and put my nerves at ease by explaining exactly what he was going to do, And explain that things had changed for the better since my last general anaesthetic over 24 years ago!! Also huge shout out to Jo, Florence and Ian. Jo had a wonderful sense of humour and was there when I came round …. just very kind, funny and caring so thank you X. Florence and Ian were lovely and extremely attentive and looked after me until the lovely Ian wheeled me into the car park where my husband was able to pick me up from the wheelchair. Finally, Thank you too to the lovely physiotherapist who came and showed me some exercises to do and also how to use the Crutches effectively after my operation. 5 stars all round. Thank you. X ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you everyone from Blakelands hospital …. you were absolutely wonderful and I really appreciate it. Thank you.

I've had my top surgery here and the team is absolutely brilliant, staff is kind, always listens, attentive, always introduced themselves, I was checked on and kept comfortable. They always knocked on the door before coming in and checked on my preferences for discussing anything as well as made sure to maintain my privacy. I really appreciate all they do and how well they treated me during my stay.

The whole process, from my initial consultation to the procedure and my discharge was as good as I could have hoped it to be. All staff were helpful and communicative and prepped me well for the examination. Dr West was great at keeping me comfortable and informed throughout. The room I was given was spotless and gave me plenty of privacy, did not expect a private room. The staff were honest, informative and checked in promptly after my appointment. I had my gallbladder removal surgery at Fitzwilliam Hospital and my experience from start to finish was excellent. The hospital has a calm, welcoming atmosphere, and from the moment I arrived I felt well looked after. Every member of staff I encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. The nursing team were particularly reassuring and always happy to answer any questions, helping to put me at ease before and after my surgery. The hospital was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well organised. Everything ran smoothly on the day of my procedure, and I felt informed and supported throughout. The quality of care I received was outstanding, and it was clear that patient comfort and wellbeing are a top priority. My surgery was successful, and my recovery has gone very well. I am extremely grateful to everyone at Fitzwilliam Hospital for the excellent care and attention I received. I would not hesitate to recommend the hospital to family and friends and would like to thank the entire team for making what could have been a stressful experience such a positive one.
