I travel some distance to visit the hospital (circa 90 miles round trip) as I wanted to stay under the care of my consultant as an NHS patient. It's worth the travelling, not just to stay with my consultant (have been under his care since 2019), but because it's a great hospital service. All the staff are courteous and helpful. I've received treatment on a few occasions over the years and each time it has been a good experience from booking in at reception, all the way through to attendance in a theatre environment where a team of staff assist in administering the procedures. I've had an MRI scan this week and that went very well, the MRI Technicians were brilliant and answered the questions I put to them. On all previous procedures I've received, the team of staff that looked after me from booking-in and doing pre-procedure checks, to the theatre team and consultant have been brilliant. They are there to help with any questions and keeping any fears or worries to a minimum. Once the procedure is completed, the nurses looking after me and organising the discharge details are brilliant too. A slight downside is the shortage of parking spaces at peak times - but sometimes it's just a case of being patient while a space becomes available. I would recommend this hospital as it offers a great environment with a great team of staff !

Staff all incredibly friendly, no such thing as a silly question and they all do their best to make you feel comfortable. Procedure was clearly explained and very quick, aftercare instructions were given both verbally and on paper, whole process went very smoothly.

I had to undergo a hysterectomy. Unfortunately NHS wait times were long so I opted to have it done at West Midlands Hospital. The staff were wonderful! They were kind, caring, understanding and care was as I expected. My dietary requirements were met (not your basic, boring vegetarian/vegan food). My husband was looked after while I was in surgery and the after care has been great! It was an allround fantastic service from pre-op through to post-op. The hospital is very clean. The emergency nurse call (which was accidently pressed 🙈 was rapid with several professionals standing at the foot end of my bed within seconds). Every professional (HCA, Nurse, Surgeon, Anaesthetist etc) all listened to me and tailored care to my needs instead of just doing what they thought was best. One of the nurses even made me a hot water bottle to ease the pain on top of all the meds and made sure it was kept warm! Thank you to a wonderful team.

I've had several operations at Renacres Hospital, both orthopaedic and general surgery. Renacres has been my first choice on each occasion.. I can't fault any aspect of my care. Thank you to all the staff who've made my stay a comfortable experience.

Excellent treatment outstanding from start ti finish I had very bad time in met hospital last year so to come be treated the way I was made the whole worry of surgery a lot easier to face from the welcome to how the operating theatre staff n all ward staff was simply outstanding a real credit to your hospital thank u to u all very grateful
