Mr Massa graduated from the University of Malta Medical school in 2006 and moved to the UK in 2008. He gained membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and completed his basic surgical training in 2012. He also completed a Masters in Musculoskeletal Sciences (UCL) during this time. Following completion of his higher specialist training on the South East London Rotation and successfully gaining fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (Trauma & Orthopaedics) in 2019, he completed 2 years of fellowship training at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford and Guys & St Thomas' Hospital, London. His focus is in young adult hip pathology with management including hip arthroscopy, PAO, complex primary and revision hip surgery. He has an invested interest in teaching and has completed a PgCert in Clinical Education in 2021.
