Laser Resurfacing

What is laser resurfacing?

Laser resurfacing is a non-surgical treatment to reduce facial wrinkles, uneven skin tone, scars or sun damage. It uses short, concentrated pulsating laser beams to remove skin layer by layer.

Pixel laser skin resurfacing is more effective than traditional laser resurfacing as it uses a fractional method to treat your skin in localised targeted tiny zones and leaves the other zones within the treatment area perfectly intact. This helps your skin recover faster and offers minimal downtime.

It fires tiny beams of light that create small holes or pixels in your skin and removes some of your outermost layers of skin in a precise and controlled way to your required depth. These micro-holes stimulate collagen production as a part of the healing process that helps tighten your skin and improves your skin’s texture and tone.

It is used to treat:

  • Fine lines around your mouth and eyes
  • Rough skin
  • Discoloration
  • Sun-damaged skin
  • Acne scars
  • Large pores
  • Chicken pox blemishes
  • Brown to grey-brown patches, known as Melasma
