Booking a consultation with Ramsay Weight loss surgery is a simple process:

You can call 0808 278 1276 or contact us to book a consultation. Our team members will go through a series of questions before booking the consultation and will answer any queries you may have.

Where can I have the Consultation?

We have regular clinics throughout the UK including:

Harley Street, London Gloucester
Torquay Truro
Chelmsford Sawbridgeworth
Ashtead Peterborough
Doncaster

If you are unable to make a clinic date, a telephone consultation can be performed by one our bariatric nurses.

How long will the consultation take?

The consultation will last approximately 45 minutes.

What does the Consultation involve?

The consultation will take place with one of our Bariatric nurses. On arrival, you will be weighed and then the consultation will begin. The Bariatric nurse will go through all aspects of weight loss surgery, including:

  • Pre-operative preparation
  • Surgical risks
  • Eligibility
  • Health benefits
  • Possible complications

Feel free to bring a family member or friend for extra support. 

Will I be consulted by the surgeon?

The initial consultation will take place with one of our experienced Bariatric nurses, this is also an opportunity to meet the aftercare team you will work with after surgery.

Depending on your BMI, general health and other aspects, a medical summary will be completed on your suitability for weight loss surgery and then an appointment made for you to meet your surgeon. You will also be given surgery dates at this consultation.
