Dr Jonathan Booth is a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Berkshire Independent Hospital in Reading
General gastroenterology and hepatology with a particular interest in colonoscopy, ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound and upper and lower interventional endoscopy, colorectal screening.
Dr Jonathan Booth studied medicine at St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London. He completed gastroenterology training at St Thomas’s Hospital in London as a registrar before conducting 3 years in research into liver disease at St Mary’s Hospital.
He was then appointed senior registrar at St Mary’s Hospital and Chelsea & Westminster Hospital where he completed further training in interventional endoscopy. At the end of training he spent 5 months as a post graduate fellow at the Amsterdam Medical Centre pursuing his interest in interventional endoscopy. He was then appointed Consultant Gastroenterologist in 1999.
