Enid Stevens is a Psychologist at The Berkshire Independent Hospital
Enid Stevens specialises in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) for a wide range of disorders, including Depression, Anxiety, Panic and Phobias, as well as Behavioural problems such as Addictions and OCD. She also undertakes Psychotherapy, along with Hypnotherapy and Mindfulness, often working with victims of Abuse and Trauma.
She has practised at the BIH for almost 20 years, where her work incudes the management and treatment of Stress Related physical conditions such as IBS, Fibromyalgia, ME, Headaches, and Chronic Pain. She also has a practice in Henley.
Enid’s qualifications include Fellow of the Institute of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy, and a Member of the Corporation of Advanced Hypnotherapy. She is also a Licentiate of the Association of Stress Management and on the Register of Approved Gastrointestinal Hypnotherapists and Psychotherapists.
She has lectured at the University of Reading, and been a tutor with the Berkshire College of nursing and midwifery specialising in psychological topics.
She has been involved with research projects exploring the treatment effectiveness of various psychotherapeutic techniques.
