Mr Deshpande, Consultant Oncoplastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Breast Surgeon, provides a high quality of service and the highest standards of care. He also provides surgical treatments of groin and umbilical herniae and lumps and bumps. Mr Deshpande leads our outstanding one stop breast care clinic. This service provides Consultant consultation, scans and diagnosis on the day with our specialist breast care team. As well as One Stop service, Mr Deshpande specialises in surgical treatment of breast cancer and benign breast problems, breast reconstruction, cosmetic breast surgery, breast reduction, mastopexy (lift), male breast reduction and many other plastic surgery procedures like lipomodelling and abdominoplasty. He is a Fellow of Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and is Lead Breast Clinician and Lead for Enhanced Recovery after Breast cancer Surgery at Wrightington Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust. He is also a honorary senior lecturer for University of Edinburgh and Edge Hill University. His enhanced recovery project (Day-case Breast Surgery) has received High Commendation at the BMJ Awards 2015 in Women's Health Category.
