Following his graduation from University College London Medical School, Mr Panthagani pursued Ophthalmology training across various centres in the West Midlands, culminating in specialist Fellowship training in corneal transplantation, complex cataract surgery, refractive surgery with a special interest in laser eye surgery and reducing spectacle dependence and ocular surface disease at Birmingham Midland Eye Centre and Southend University Hospital. Throughout this process, Mr Panthagani has acquired advanced techniques at the forefront of the field. With years of experience, he has helped numerous patients improve their vision and overall eye health. Mr Panthagani currently holds an NHS practice in Kettering General Hospital in Northamptonshire. 

Mr Panthagani demonstrates a strong commitment to research, evident through his consistent contributions to high-impact peer-reviewed scientific journals and presentations in international scientific conferences. He was appointed as a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Birmingham (UoB) with specialist academic research focusing on patients with ocular mucous membrane pemphigoid, a rare ocular surface scarring condition. This work led to the awarding of the prestigious Bowman Club Prize.
